I’ve never entered anything in the Fair before. Can I still enter?Absolutely. New exhibitors are welcome.
You do not need to be an expert or enter a large number of items. Start with one thing you are proud of and find the appropriate section and class in the
2026 Williams Lake Harvest Fair catalogue.
What kinds of things can I enter?There are many different classes, including vegetables, flowers, baking, preserves, arts and crafts, photography, quilting, needlework and more.
Check the 2026 Fair catalogue for the complete list of sections, classes and entry requirements.
Do my entries have to follow the 2026 theme?No. The 2026 theme is Sun ~ Sand ~ Soil, but regular Fair entries do not have to follow the theme unless a particular class says otherwise.
How do I know which section and class to enter?Check the 2026 Fair catalogue carefully before completing your entry form.
Several sections and classes have changed for 2026, so do not rely on a previous year’s catalogue.
Do I need a separate entry form for every item?No. You can list multiple exhibits on one form, but each exhibitor needs their own entry form.
Can I enter more than one item in the same class?Yes. Unlimited entries per class are accepted unless the catalogue states otherwise.
When are entry forms due?Entry forms are due Wednesday, September 9, 2026.

Forms can be dropped off during business hours at:

These locations accept entry forms only — not exhibits.
Can I email my entry form?Yes. This is a new option for 2026.

Can I still enter if I miss the regular deadline?Late entries for Sections A–O will be accepted until 4 p.m. Thursday, September 10 at the Curling Club Harvest Fair Office.
Late entries are charged double the regular entry fee per exhibit.
When do I bring my actual exhibit to the Fair?Exhibits in Sections A–O must be brought to the curling rink between noon and 5 p.m. on Friday, September 11.

Do not take your exhibits to City Hall or the Tribune.When can I pick up my exhibit?Exhibits cannot be removed until 4 p.m. Sunday, September 13.
Are there special rules for different types of exhibits?Yes. Please read both the General Rules for Exhibitors and the rules listed for the individual section you are entering.
These requirements are used when entries are judged.
Do I have to stay at the Fair with my exhibit?No. Once your exhibit has been entered and placed for judging/display, you do not need to remain with it.
Are children allowed to enter?Yes. The Fair includes classes for children and youth. Check the catalogue for the appropriate age divisions and classes.
