42nd Williams Lake Harvest Fair

“Pirates of the Carrots & Beans“

September 7 & 8, 2019. There's no better time to create lasting memories with the whole family!

Join us!

Come celebrate the autumn season with some good old-fashioned fun at the Williams Lake Fall Fair!

Every September, when the leaves change colour and the days become shorter, the Williams Lake Harvest Fair brings communities in the Cariboo Chilcotin together for one weekend.

Our mission statement: The Williams Lake Harvest Fair through hosting an annual exhibition will encourage a medium of exchange of information on the development of rural lifestyle, agriculture awareness and development, and promote the 4-H program.

If you eat, you’re involved in agriculture!

We pride ourselves on being a country fair, where our #1 focus is to show our visitors the importance agriculture plays in every one of our lives.

The fair takes place at Stampede Park, 880 Mackenzie Avenue South in Williams Lake,

Message from the WLHF President

Message from the WLHF President
It’s time for the 42nd annual Williams Lake Harvest Fair! We are honoured to host this annual celebration of agriculture in the Cariboo, Coast and Chilcotin Regions.

The big toys and entertainment will all be going on beside the Curling Club. Don’t miss the Exhibit Hall (Curling Club) over the weekend as it will have all the fabulous home arts and quilts!

The Gymkhana will continue on Sunday at the outdoor Trail Riders Arena. There will be new entertainment on the stage adjacent to the Curling Club for both days of the fair for your enjoyment, featuring Uncle Chris the Clown, some new surprises and Ted Couling!

And of course we couldn’t do all this without the help of our many volunteers and sponsors, thank-you!!!

Hopefully we will see you at the Fair, September 7th and 8th.

Williams Lake Harvest Fair President, Tammy Tugnum

A message from the Mayor

A message from the Mayor
On behalf of City of Williams Lake Council, a warm welcome to Williams Lake’s 42nd annual Harvest Fair.

There are so many activities and events to enjoy at the Harvest Fair, from the always impressive displays in the Exhibit Hall to the Gymkhana. Returning this year is the ever popular caricaturist, Ted Couling. We can always expect a wonderful selection of food and refreshments to enjoy at the various concessions on site. The entertainment stage and play area provide additional entertainment, and there are plenty of vendors selling a variety of items – the Harvest Fair is fun for the whole family!

New this year is the participation of the Williams Lake Reiners, who will be holding their fourth show of 2019 at the Fair. There will also be cattle sorting in the main Stampede arena, which promises to continue the excitement of the Stampede into the Fall.

Many thanks to the Harvest Fair Committee for your ongoing hard work and commitment to putting on an excellent event each year. The Harvest Fair is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and showcase our community’s vast talents. The quality of the entries is always impressive, and a trip to the fair is a
wonderful way to welcome Fall.

In addition to visiting the Fair, I encourage everyone to take part in this year’s Fair by entering your wares in the wide range of categories. Whether participating for the first time, or a seasoned participant, there is something for everyone at the Harvest Fair. Good luck to all the exhibitors, and enjoy the Fair!

Williams Lake Mayor, Walt Cobb
